The Bertoldini company was founded in 1976 by Vladimiro Bertoldini. It was part of the famous Murano glass industry, producing metal lamp-parts and glass-making tools.

Mr. Bertoldini, who had behind him a twenty-year experience in the Murano metal-work industry, enjoyed close business relationships with leading glass-makers, such as Barovier & Toso and Venini.

In 1985 his son Mauro joined the company. After his studies, he chose to enter the difficult but fascinating field of illumination for interiors alongside his father.

They soon discovered that as a team, they complemented each other, combining experience and technique of the older with the creativity and quick intuition of the younger. In just a few years they thus succeeded in making a name for themselves both in Italy and abroad, satisfying the requirements of the most demanding clients, in collaborating with world-renowned designers and producing lamps and furnishings for interiors and for ships.

Today Bertoldini s.r.l. is a company with an annual growth of 20%, employing 18 full-time workers. Its main plant stretches over 2,500 square metres. The company, with its considrable experience and know-how, offers a complete consultation services, from product certifying to technical development, manufacturing parts (unfinished products) or complete products.

The manufacturing department, with its first-rate tools, boasts highly-skilled workers with rich experience in the fields of shearing, bending and forming, soft soldering, seam welding and electric welding, turning, milling, boring, forming and punching.

Highly skilled workers are at work also at the assembly and packaging department.

For certain types of metal surface work, the company engages specially-skilled sub-contractors.
